Or the hardest question ever asked?

Any field is hard if you go far enough in it. The two that I found hardest were differential geometry and advanced group theory.

The hardest question ever asked - that's a wide-open field. There are numerous open problems in mathematics (statements that nobody has ever been able to prove or disprove). It's a bit hard to judge whether one is harder than another when by definition nobody has been able to do any of them. ;-)

Here's a simple open problem (Goldbach's conjecture): Prove or disprove the following: Every even integer greater than 2 can be written as the sum of two primes.

It seems to be true - it's been verified directly up to 10^18;
there are various results that "almost all" (for various senses of that phrase) even numbers greater than 2 can be written as the sum of two primes; and it's known that all even integers greater than 2 can be written as the sum of at most 6 primes. But nobody has actually managed to prove that it's always true. (Information in this paragraph comes from Wikipedia as per the below link.)

many people say calculu is the hardest but i dont think so im only a sophmore in highshool and i know uptill calculus III or several varaible calculus and i dont think it was hard at all...after that things are hard such as topology and physics math and theorys involved with quantum physics etc.

Each person has his or her hardest field. Mine is topology, trying to understand multidimensional objects.
