Say it. If that person loves you, he will accept you just as you are. My cousin told everyone in the family and we all love him the same. His friends are straight and they love him and respect him, too. Go ahead!!!

Saying the words "I am gay" usually works. Is it necessary to tell them? If it is then say it. The worst part about coming out is telling someone for the first time. Once you've done that and found there is no problem, it becomes much easier. Friends and family should accept you for who you are and your sexuality should make no difference. If it does make a difference then reassess your relationship with the supposed friend.

hi, someone....I'm gay! :)

seriously, the first time is extremely stressful and scary. But, i will say, in my experience, my worry and stress over it going horrible, never happened. Afterwards I was always like, "gee, what was I so stressed out about??"

My advice, find one or two people you really trust, parent, sibling, friend, parent of friend,.....anyone you really trust and just feel good about, and just tell them. It usually goes much better than you think it will.

Yes, it may be a bit awkward for a little while as they adjust to knowing you are gay, and you adjusting to them knowing, but, it's so worth. You will feel like the weight of the world has been lifted from your shoulders.

good luck

My son one day just came out and told me, I love him and even though I didn't really understand all the feelings I would eventually have to go through to except it, I knew I loved my son and somehow it would all be good. I don't know when he felt he could tell me, but you will, just know that you are who you are and be proud of yourself, some people never figure that out. Good Luck,
Marda

Hopefully it is someone you know, then you can take them aside and tell them you have something to tell them. There is no reason to tell them unless you feel they are ready to know and can handle it.

you just tell that someone. no need to be beating around the bush, you'd end up telling that person anyway, so why waste that person's time, go straight to the point.
