it is a drug, when you are on laughing gas you just laugh all the time (thus, the name) but you don't remember ANY of it once the drug side effects fade away.....i had to take laughing gas for a surgery i had and it was so weird....my mom was there with me and she told me that while i was on it i would tell her weird stories and crack up randomly and talk to her in many different languages.....its so weird cuz i didnt remember a think when i "woke up" from it
