I'm wanting to make a few shirts with wording on them for gifts. But i've run into the issue of having to cut every small letter out or you see the transfer paper! Any ideas or helpful hints?

Is there a transfer paper that goe son completely clear? I've tried the iron on T-shirt transfer sheets by Avery. Even on a white shirt there still seems to be a tint of off white around the word if you don't cut out every single letter right up to the ink. Is there a way to fix this so it doesn't look so cheaply made? Or a better transfer than others? =) I'm trying to put together a few little shirts to put in a craft booth, so I want them to look some what professional. =) Thanks!

Any transfer paper made for white shirts will be clear. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a clear one for dark shirts.

You have to print your text with a transparent background. You can do this on photoshop. Then flip it horizontally (so it looks like a mirror).

With this you won't have to cut every letter and you don't have to worry about a special transfer paper ;)

Are you washing the shirt first? You should. It might be the sizing that is on all new clothes, that is causing your problem.
