Yes. In a large group of people; we were trapped for about 40 minutes in the dark. The worst thing was that some inconsiderate b-i-t-c-h lit up a cigarette so as well as being hot and stinky, none of us could breathe.
I can't stand elevators any more and I feel like freaking out every time I'm forced to go in one. I walk a lot of stairs nowadays, but people aren't willing to wait for me, so if I'm with other people they make me take the elevator with them.
If I'm alone, I will climb 50 flights of stairs rather than go in the elevator.

Yes. It was many years ago when I was about 8 1/2 months pregnant with my first child. I was in the hospital elevator and it just stopped. There were 2 men in the elevator with me and I was huge and very disagreeable. I did not know either man and was there visiting a sick friend. I was stuck for over four hours and I think those two men were more scared that I was going to go into labor then anything else.

No(t yet;) but I have been in a cranky elevator, coming down from the fortieth floor to the ground floor at full speed, and the whole elevator was throttling.
Scary ride but fun all the same!

No, but I have already decided I will resort to cannibalism if need be in an emergency situation. I get cranky if I have to skip lunch.
