Just saw this special at the gym on the TV show that talks about stocks all day. And it had a special on how porn was entering the
stock market. So I was wondering where I can find out more info on this and if you yourself would consider it a good investment.. I mean like it or not porn is what practically built the internet

I would have to look at the balance sheet and income statement first. But I do have to admit that I wish I had had an interest in "Deep Throat" when it came out. You are probably too young to remember. Back in the 1970s, it was THE porn film. That and "Debby Does Dallas". Then there was the sci fi "Flesh Gordon" Heck I did not see any of them, but they certainly were the talk around the water cooler back then.
Isn't porn sort of blasé? I can not imagine anyone getting excited about it in this day and age. Well maybe GWB.

In my approach to stocks I make it a point not to know what the company does. I find it distracting. I am a total technician and follow the price action alone. On the other hand, I do have a short list of things I consider "dirty money" and would not want to be involved with. My list today includes hand guns, gambling, pawn shops, liquor, and commercial prisions. I'll add porn if it comes on the market. I mean, do you have any honor?

No I wouldn't, unless it was part of a mutual fund. But it does remind me of the so called "greased hand index" No it's not what you're thinking. It is the top 30 companies which spend the most money to lobbyists on Capitol Hill. Those companies historically make twice the return of the S&P 500

I wouldn't buy stock in the porn industry and it didn't have anything to do with building the internet, but if you invested in it that would be OK with me.

I would not buy stocks in the porn industry.
I do not buy "vice" stocks such as casino stocks. I don't like the moral risk associated with them.
