I just recently got my first purse and have no idea what to put in it. I'm 12 years old and just got a really cute Aeropostale purse thats not that big. HELP!

Well, it depends on what you need. For a twelve year old I would say wallet, keys, mirror, cell phone, ipod, lipgloss, pen and pad of paper.
My purse consists of so many things, but it just depends on what you need to carry around. Don't carry a purse if you don't need one, it gets very annoying after a while.

Some bag must-haves include:
-Lipgloss. Always keep your lips shimmery and glossy!
-Mascara. Keep your lashes bold and flirty!
-Gum. If there's no food, gum will hold you over and give you minty-fresh breath.
-Cell phone. In case of an emergency, when there's no phone around, a cell phone is a must!
-Compact mirror. Just to make sure your look perfect when your out on the town!
-Some cash. Always keep around $20 - $40 in your purse. When you go shopping, though, you can always ask your parents for a little more money. Remember to keep your money organized, maybe in a little hidden pocket inside the purse or in a small wallet.

cool! i am 12 too! :) well, i keep my wallet and lipgloss there. o yea, if u started ur period, keep something in a pocket inside the interior of the purse (just in case), and if u haven't, but think u will soon, keep something anyway. a couple hair bands and ties r fine 2. but not big hard 1s, like elastic. also, little pieces of candy u can get ur hands on! (so if ur stuck bored somewhere, u have something sweet 2 snack on), but only a couple, dont wanna b a pig! ;) mints also! and cell fone. and a couple pencils or pens. keys if u have a house key. (but not ur main 1, have another just 4 ur purse!)
so: $, makeup (just like lipgloss and mayb shadow), or chapstick, tampons/pads, small hair accessories, mints/candy, and if u have a cell, that 2. ( it may even have a special compartment 4 the fone!), and pen(cil)s. if u have a house key, DEF that!

You can put the needs in your purse here is what I put in my purse:
-Wallet with money inside ( $40.00 )
-Lipgloss
-ipod
But you can put others in there too like:
-Camera
-A pack of mint or gum
-Cellphone
-Brush ( but not one of those huge ones the small ones )
-Compact mirror

Put your:
-cellphone (crucial!)
-lipgloss (just in case!)
-wallet ($$$)
-compact (always handy)
-pen, notepad (need to take a message/note/w/e?)
I have a smalle purse, and this is all a I carry around, and I am doing fine!

what you keep in your purse is very important, learn this at your young age and you will be set for life

i would recommend things that you use on a daily basis. Maybe chapstick or lip gloss, a tide-to-go stick, house keys, a pen, a school id or other cards you need (library card?) maybe some mints. trust me, you'll fill it up much more quickly than you think.

depends on what you need. i have my makeup, chapstick, cell, iPod, keys, coin purse that holds my money and my id card, mini brush, gum, pen, and perfume. but i'm seventeen so i don't know what you need. just ask yourself- when your out at the mall, what do you wish you had with you.?

hmm..I'd say a small travel pack of tissue paper,
a pad (if incase), travel size lotion, a coin purse with change, and Purel (sp?) hand sanitizer (incase you don't have access to water)..And of course anything else that is important for you.
