Most of the work at home plans are schemes that basically involve you spamming and recruiting people to buy the idea of spamming and recruiting other people under them. Like with most things like this, people eventually grow weary and smart. The companies usually go under within a few years after the top people made their money. There was a long distance phone service a couple years back called xcell or excel or something along those lines. Basically they charged you $800 for the ability to sign new people up under you. They were around for a couple years. Miraculously the company went bankrupt and the company was dissolved. Everyone who signed up for it was out the money they invested.
Good luck and always be weary of scams that require you to sign people up under you in order to make money. If it's a pain in the butt for you to do it, how do you think the people under you will think about it.

There are many home based businesses out there. I have tried some and lost a lot of money. I am a business owner and I have just invested a new home based business. The start up costs are low and the amount of money you can make is endless. I thought it was too good to be true. Now don't think that you are going to start and the money is going to start rolling in. No matter what business you are in, it is going to take some work and dedication. Check out this website and look at the presentation. If you think it is for you give me a call. My number is on the website. This is a legitimate business and the start up costs are minimal. www.ytb.com/mmalacos. I look forward to hearing from you.

You’re looking for a business opportunity. I’m so glad because it means you want to change your life. I’m sure you already know how important it is to find that right opportunity. When I started looking for a business I knew that 97% of people who try to find financial freedom through a home-based business failed so I knew whatever I chose had to be different! There were certain "Givens".
• It had to be FREE so every person who wanted to change their lives would have a chance.
• It had to be simple.
• It had to take away all the "business games" that kept most people from succeeding in a home-based business.
The "Givens" were answered when I found MY POWER MALL! I’m not going to take time to explain it because MY POWER MALL has created some powerful movies and a great website that will do just that. I will tell you it is totally new, totally FREE, very simple, and can be done in conjunction with anything else you are doing to generate financial freedom. You could easily be making $4-6000 a month, but your income potential is unlimited. Interested? Click on http://www.booncome.com it will only take a few minutes to determine if the FREE program is what you have been looking for. I believe it is!

Yes and no. There are legitimate ones and there are some that have very bad reputations which actually hurt the legitimate ones because people can't distinguish between them.
I can tell you Market America, which is a very good one. We have been very successful with stay at home moms.

Just stay away from those get rich quick schemes and you'll be all right.
If you are willing to really work at it and not expect money to just roll in you can do it.
Set up a website to sell products, affiliate products, or advertising like google.
Or you can write articles or do web design if you know how.
Get into a direct sales company.
Start your own biz from scratch.
Or you could work as a telemarketer or custumer service rep at home like carisa sanders marketing or b2b or 1800flowers.
Lots of ideas here: http://www.workfromhomeforreal.com

Working from home is definitely doable, if that's something you desire and are willing to put in the effort. On the Internet, there are a lot of fly by night operations. These types of operations are concerned about making as much money as quickly as possible, and then they magically disappear into the darkness!
Before getting into a home business, please ask yourself: Would I or others continue to buy this product or service, even if there was no business opportunity involved?
I would also join a system for promoting your home business. Systems can teach and train you on how to get targeted prospects to your website using proven advertising methods. The system should be able to provide you with instant short-term cash (to fund your advertising) and long-term monthly residual profits (to build your fortune).

Derick

There are some that are actually legit, but my best advice to you--never ever pay an up front fee.
It took a ton of research and testing sites out to find the good ones. I made $2,500+ last month on line. All these sites are free to join.
For more information including site descriptions and proof that they pay, please see my profile.
