Ideas for a small business?

We (my mother and I) both work for the same ridiculous company, and we really don't wish to continue to do so. The idea of having a small business has always appealed to us, but we need what anyone needs for a business venture- ideas. Has anyone noticed or thought of any service or product that would be good for a small business?

The ideas would really depend on what you and your mother enjoy doing. Are there services you provide to friends and family for free?

Find something you're passionate about and find a way to turn it into a small business venture. If you're not passionate about it, you won't continue building your business

Have you considered looking into a network marketing business? There are some good ones out there that are producing high income and you don't have to come up with you own product. You have to both agree on an interest first weather scrap booking, child care, food service, book store and look into the market in your area. Maybe a Kiosk in your local mall. Look into franchises in your area. There are alot of things you can do at a Kiosk I think that Highlights kids magazine is one that is trying to get into the market without the overhead of a "real" store

I have always wanted to own my own child care but the hassles, start up cost, paperwork, overhead are way way way too high for me at this time. Maybe when I win the Lotto.

I've had great results joining existing websites and then creating my own sites and blogs to help promote them. And I also work directly on the sites themselves. This was all free to do and might give you and your Mom a decent part time income.

It took a ton of research and testing sites out to find the good ones. I made $2,500+ last month on line. All these sites are free to join.
