It's unfair to ask them to SERVE with a gay person!

If liberals can say it's okay for Muslims to whine about people eating ham in the same cafeteria then why should our Christian soldiers have to serve with people who are blatantly offending God?

I was in the military and I was/am straight. I realized that there were probably some gay women in the shower as well.

I don't believe that someone being gay means they are staring at everyone in the shower. Being gay doesn't make you a sexual predator or even all that lusty at all. It just means, that when you are sexual you choose someone of your sex.

To answer the question. It is not unfair to ask the military to shower with a gay person. If they don't mind being shot and blown up, how could they mind a shower?

Also, when you sign a military contract you pretty much waive your constitutional rights. So fairness wouldn't matter. You do what you're told...gay or straight...it doesn't matter; you're "green".

I think it would take a huge gym in order to accomodate our entire military showering with a gay person!

What are you thinking about, would the poor gay person be expected to provide entertainment for the entire armed forces?

Honestly, I think you have way too much time on your hands to obsess about something that doesn't concern you. If an individual is gay or straight and wants to serve their country shouldn't that really be the determining factor? I know prejudices are hard to abandon but stepping away from your computer now and then and getting to know people who don't hold to your exact dogma might give some valuable enlightment.

I don't believe so. That person (gay) is willing to fight and die for our country just like the straight soldier. Plus, just because one is gay does not mean that they have an uncontrollable libido. Being gay means one prefers to be in a relationship with another of the same sex; it does not mean that one has an insatiable, uncontrollable need for same-sex sex 24/7.

That is why we have the "NO ASK NO TELL" policy. If the gay does not openly tell anyone ., who is to know they are gay. I have been in combat & the only thing I cared about was that the gay by me had my life in his hand & was looking out for me.

No more unfair than it is to ask a heterosexual man to shower with another heterosexual man. Contrary to popular belief, most people shower to get clean, not to fantasize about sex.

A persons sexuality should not disqualify them from serving their country as long as their sexuality does not impede their ability to fulfill their duties. This applies to homosexuals and heterosexuals.

yes
Showers should now be unisex or singles
because its just as big of a perversion as looking peeping at the opposite sex as it is the same sex

should be treated EQUALLY!

so as a man i would feel much more comfortable peeping or sharing showers with a woman than with a gay man

I do not want a man looking at me necked anyways
straight or gay!

but that's just gross a gay man checking out my butt

Yep, its unfair to the gay, he'll be chastised, belittled, possibly physically harmed. That's just reality. When you take 500 men from around the country, and put them all together, they are not all (In fact very few) will be sympathetic to the gay, and none particularly sympathetic to his cause.

Argle bargle whatever your name is, no, the military is full of hormonally filled Young men that would rather do man things like football, the gym, and drink beer, than worrying about whether the guy next to em is thinking there *** is hot, capische?
