All depends on your shape and size. If you are bottom heavy or have some curves, the best kind is Apple Bottom or House of Dereon (check the spelling) which is a clothing line by Beyonce'. Levi Strauss has always been a tried and true brand, if you don't have any curves to worry about.

Abercrombie and Fitch. I wear the "Emma" brand, which they only sell in select stores. They fit amazing, and arent soo low that your butt hangs out, but not too high, either. There just perfect if your a littler heavier and can fit into a size 12 or less.
AE also has some great pants.

I just went on a day-long trek to find the perfect jeans. After trying on dozens of brands, I found that DKNY fit me best (with minor alterations by the store).

I dont have alot of money to spend on clothes, so I dont know the best brands but I really like Wet Seal's. Theyre comfy and fit me real good and are only $20. Actually, I believe on the website, wetseal.com, they are $14 on sale.
