Seems like buying a toyota or a honda is a fad for some people when Ford received more awards in 2007 from J.D. power and associates than any other make.

Most people who gripe about that, drive home in a car burning Iraqi gas and oil, sit on a couch made in Taiwan, and turn on a Japanese T.V. set. Then they grab a cell-phone made in Japan, order Chinese take-out or pizza(italian) covered in canadian bacon. Then they watch a reality show where everybody has British accents. Then they sleep on their beds made in New Zealand and dream about the Swedish Bikini Team, right?

As an owner of one Ford Taurus and Three Mercury Sables I agree with you wholeheartedly. I decided to try out a new 24 valve Fusion and YIKES I couldn't fit in the car! The ignition key dug into my right knee with the steering wheel pulled down. I'm 6' 5" and that ain't gonna fly.

My wife ones a 2004 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder. Cheap to drive but no room in the foot well and it's hard to get in and out of. It's been the shop once for an anti-knock sensor while under warranty. I tried out an 07 Camry SE with the V6 and the interior is ten times more plush than the Fusion plus it would tear the butt square out of the Ford also.

Sorry It's going to be another Toyota in the family.

Many questions you've raised. Yes Ford did get the award however those are the matters the harm American items. High wages you have to placed that into the product fee. So bigger fee. American Manufacturers have now not embraced smaller autos like import merchandise do. Get higher fuel mileage. Quality isn't regularly as much as the goods photo. Be it the frame, internal and so forth. American Manufacturers stored hoping matters could difference and didn't difference with the days. Now having mentioned all that we simplest possess American made however now not everybody can manage to pay for it or get the equal for the significance....Manufacturing jobs were exported and that influences us all

I had a second hand 1976 Chevy Impala that lasted me 22 years. When I got rid of it in 2001, I couldn't find another car that appealed to me. And so, I bought me a Harley Davidson motorcycle with a sidecar. I ride it rain or shine. One thing for sure, the gas companies aren't making a bundle off of me.

I'd say Jap cars just are better than Ford - Have you seen Ford is actually loosing money and having to sell off they're parts to Aston Martin etc.?? surely a great car company woudln't have to do that??

Would that be the Ford that is assembled in Mexico, per chance? I suppose buying a Honda or Toyota built in the U.S. by AMERICANS is unpatriotic?
