Okay...I don't watch American Idol and I've seen him once on the show but...I foregot and I've always thought that...all this time....it shocks me....this is not racist but its a bit confusing he has a great voice...that sounds like a Chris Brown but a bit lower.....please tell me if this has happened to anyone else! or even about a different singer

I know what you mean. I know that Elliot Yamin is white, but when I heard his new hit song, I thought it sounded ike Chris Brown too, and I was shocked it was Elliot!

I was just talking about this with my friend! When his song comes onto the radio, he sounds like a soulful african american man, while in fact he's a small white man with crazy curly hair and ridiculously white teeth.

No, he is not AfricanAmerican. And to answer your question, no, your experience has never happened to me. Anyone that saw Elliot on Idol would not have to wonder about his race.
