well i have had both amd and intell before and intell realy sucks bad ive looked into all the specs on them and amd always wins when it comes to quality plus amd pionerd 64 bit in CPUs plus the centrino is in my opinion there second worst behind the celeron for proof AMD is used in servers witch is the back bone of the internet and what is considered a super computer i meen wouldnt you want the same quality as a super computer oh and jake you are completely wrong the centrino is the processor as for a pentium M it is the "key componet of a celeron processors technoligy" and you can use any chipset that will work with the processor wether its nvidia or intell or any thing

intel is better now that they came out with the new santa rosa platform which made the cpu and fsb faster with better battery life. centrino is not low-end like tuions r, centrino is just the name of the chipset. the processor is actually called the pentium m and is what high end gaming systems have in them core 2 duo which is basically 2 pentium m's. the new pm's r 64 bit as well.

Make sure its a dual core or core 2 duo processor. Centrinos are old hat. Dell laptops have them and are reasonably priced and a good all round machine. The rest are either cheap junk or overpriced.

the Intel centrino Core 2 duo offers big performance and speed, but you have to pay more than the AMD. They kind of slow than Intel, but it offers 64-bit computing than Intel and save $$$ than intel. I would recommend that you use AMD if you are a gaming and graphics user.

Doesn't really matter. I believe the Centrino is better as far as battery life goes.

Doesn't really matter. AMD is cooler, and has a higher front end bus speed, but Intel has a bigger cache, making them about even, except the heat difference.

i could assume that a million quad middle could outperform 2 twin cores. it may additionally be extra skill powerful and could generate lots much less warmth than once you have 2 or extra actual processors put in
