I think so. Can't be 100% sure. But i tried to put myself in such a situation and my instinct tells me I would. I would because whenever I fear for someone I love, or see someone in pain, I automatically slip into the ER uniform. So, I would not necessarily die consciously. I don't think anything else but trying to help the person forgetting my life is now in peril.
