HOLY!!!!! I would have freaked! Well, as you know, tony, Carmella and AJ were sitting at the table, and they were showing this guy at a table, and then some guy got up and went to the bathroom and my gosh i thought tony was gonna get it, meadow was outside trying to park her car, finally, she parks it and goes running inside, slams the door open and then BLAM....black screen! I was so pissed! It was a total cliff hanger. Now I am just dying for more....I really hope they left it open for a reason and not for us to just come up with our own ending to the story.

As to why your DVR cut off, simply put disc space, you ran out.

One way to look at it is: David Chase whacked the viewers.
Perhaps we were thinking when Bobby was saying in the boat, "You never see the one that kills you. Everything goes to black," we were thinking this has to apply to Tony.
But no, they were talking about US! Tony and his family live on and Tony continues to skipper the NJ mafia. We are just no longer there to see it.
