Windows provides a detailed explanation on most of the services running on your PC, So you can see the description yourself by following the information below
1. Start
2. Run
3.Type "services.msc", no quotations
4.The services menu will pop up, you can see all the information regarding each services on your computer. Make sure you looking at the extended descriptions.
Regarding a website that has all the unnecessary programs that aren't needed check out the site below.

ONLY tab you MIGHT want to open is STARTUP and uncheck unneeded programs starting up with windows.
