Some women bleed for 6 weeks or more, though it's not as common. I've been pregnant 3 times now and had to wear pads for 4 weeks, sometimes a little more.
It's totally normal and the brown blood means it should be drying up soon.
Congrats on your new baby!

Usually it is around 4 to 6 weeks. My first child I didn't stop until 3 months and my second was for only 3 weeks. I think you should stop within the next week or two. Congratulations on your new edition.

You can bleed for up to 6 weeks. I continued for 7 months due to complications.

After I had my son, I began recieving the Depo shot as birth control. It stopped my period and I've been period free (and unpregnant) for 2 years! I strongly suggest you try it.

With my first, I bled for 8 weeks. If you want to stop as soon as possible, take it easy and don't overdo yourself.
