Most laptops have the graphics built into the motherboard so simple answer is "no"... however there are a few laptops around (VERY few) that have separate graphics cards. I would not suggest ripping open the case to find out - check the manual or vendor's website for your model of laptop.

Most laptops that I have seen have the video cards integrated on the motherboard and therefore extremely difficult if not impossible to remove from one machine and put into another.

I would say no. Not something you should try to do.

P.S. Some Lapers have the option to remove the GPU and some do not. This would require much reading on your Laper and your brothers Laper, and knowledge of how to disassemble the Laper.

generally the only one fo those which would be seperate is the on the spot card in case you obtain it as a card and is no longer inner. each and all of the rest are generally integrated to the motherboard
