***IF YOU'RE JUST GONNA TAUNT ME OR CALL ME EMO, GO PICK ON SOMEONE ELSE***
Ever since the beginning of this school year (I'm a sophomore, btw) I've been really upset with myself. Over everything. I have absolutely 0 self-confidence. To the point where I rarely leave my house for anything except school, and only speak when spoken to. This used to be because I was really overweight and considered myself too unattractive to be one of "the group". Though I'm now a healthy weight, though I still consider myself, well, ugly. But I think this is only one of the causes for my self-abhorance.

There's something seriously wrong with me. Up until the end of freshman year I was always fun, loud, energetic. But now it's like everything is caving in all at once. To make matters worse, my 0 confidence seems to be rather obvious just by looking at me, seeing as how I'm now the school's verbal-punching bag. Needless to say, that doesn't help.

What in the world should I do?

You actually seem to know alot of the answers to the question you present. But don't get angry, Try to have a positive outlook. You already lost weight so try and lose some more. Who says your ugly? So far only you have said that. And what is ugly? Its what you think that counts. Remember if your around people and you have a negative attitude they will draw upon that. So try to be more fun to be around. Your still young and you have the power within you to change any thing. So don't give up or do anything crazy. It only gets better (that's up to you ). Also try to solve this one step at a time. It works I was there. Hope we hear some good feedback from you. Be cool.

Ten years from now you will look back on your time as a teenager and wonder how you got through it all. The fact is that you will get through it, and you'll do so with intelligence. One day at a time got you to where you are, and one day at a time will move you toward other states of being and ways of thinking. Everything is a cycle, a phase, a season. Just as you are dissatisfied with things now, you will be more pleased in times to come. You are loved and protected. Be.

people pick on those who seems to have not much of self confidence. you should tell urself that u love urself. you really need to love yourself to get others to love u too. if u think you really cant deal w those ppl, consider moving and start fresh!
