im going to six flags, and I wanna try some of the myths people have? like what happens if you put a penny on your hand on the GIANT DROP? Stuff like that. Just for fun? Anyone know of anything

I think you should stick to your standard fun.
Most rides now-a-days will check your hands before you go up the drop towers so you can't drop pennies.
You have to think... it has to land some where right? Well if that certain place happens to be someones head they would be in an eminence amount of pain.
You are probably the same kind of person who trys to stand up on wooden roller coasters?
Yeah, not a good idea. Amusement parks go through a tremendous ordeal in order to keep all of their guests safe. I don't think you should be jeopardizing that for yourself or the other families who came to have a good day.

The penny thing is waay old. And yes, it does appear to "float." (if you really want the explanation, just contact me)
I've "heard" that some people are much more creative with other objects such as superballs, balloons (you blow it up on the way up), and other fun things that I'm sure you could think of.
Hopefully anyone who may have done something like this or be thinking about doing anything like this knows what you're doing and thinks ahead realizing that anything dropped from that height, could injure someone, and so takes that into consideration. For example, a dollar bill dropped from that height probably wouldn't hurt anyone, nor would a balloon, but a coin might.
Anyways, as others have said, it's not recommending you do any of these things. It's just some of the "myths" I've heard of.
