I'm using Windows XP on a Dell computer. I left click my mouse and highlight a portion of the screen. Place the cursor over that region and right click the mouse.
In the pop-up display -
CUT - is faded and won't work
COPY - is bold
PASTE - is faded
SELECT ALL - is bold
PRINT - is bold
The faded words are like they are inactive -
I just tried the cut & paste feature while typing this question and it will work here.
Would someone please help me to repair the cut & paste feature. Thanks in advance.

some programs and webpages wont allow you to copy. another way you can try is highlighting it then ctrl+c (to copy) and wherever you are gonna paste click and ctrl+v.

What program(s) are you using the cut and paste in? Is it only that progam/programs it does that in?
Dells are crap anyway, but this could be just a glitch in the program
