damn right they should we will support them a helluva lot better then Nashville did. maybe we will actually have a good chance at getting seats since the leafs are sold out every game hell, we might as well put teams in k-w area, london, and windsor they would all do well

The NHL screwed Hamilton out of a franchise twice. They moved the Hamilton Tigers to New York after a player strike in the 20s and Hamilton was the only expansion bid that fulfilled their obligations the year Tampa and Ottawa were awarded teams. So yes, the team should be able to move to the Hamilton area, it will do well there, although I think the long term plan is a team in the KW area so central Ontario fans can see games. And should the league try and stop Baslillie, they'll find they are pissing off a guy with deep pockets and a real nasty streak. It could get very ugly.

Hamilton could defintly support the team, they have the arena, private boxes and the corporate sponsors. they would be a 100 times better than a team in Nashville. the only thing I think the league would be worried about is the proximity to Buffalo and Toronto. The Leafs not so much but Buffalo has half of its season ticket holders in Canada, mostly in the Hamilton/Niagra region. If it were up to me I would put a team in Winnipeg in the Western Conference and then move the Wings into the Eastern Conference where they belong .

Think about hockey during geography class? Hamilton is in Ontario, which is a province of Canada. I do agree that moving a team that's not catching on in the southern US back to where there's a better hockey market is a stunning idea, though. This means Buttman will make sure it never happens.

Copps Coliseum Arena capacity is 19,000 bigger then 50% then most NHL teams have today. yes then can suport a team. whithin the next 10 years there will be another team in Canada and it will not be from expantion it will only come from a team that will need to sell and move. the Nashville Predators owner's have been thinking to sell there team for the past 4 years cause of not making any money and trying to buy a good anough team to really contened this past year and they failed.
copas>>>>nice try, next time you say lies as you just did, well people remember what you said and then you will never be voted as best answer. Preds owners are in the planing of selling this franchise cause of terrible market and very below attendence average since joining the NHL. He is SELLING this team and the new buyers will move this team as their not going to buy a struggling franchise and keep them in a NO hockey city sorry. I do pay attention to what's going on around the league. Yes maybe youre a big hockey fan and a Preds fan but be realistic please. they will be gone in the next 5 years.

They won't move to Hamilton. I read on the Toronto Star a few weeks ago about something to do with territory between the Leafs and Sabres. Something about a fee for operating within their 50-mile radius or some other thing like that.
Should they move to Canada? Damn straight. The Manitoba Conservatives are using a bring-hockey-back-to-Winnipeg campaign (to get votes, obviously) at the end of their term. Hey, Bastille (or however you spell his name) wants to move the Preds to Canada, Winnipeg wants to team. It's win-win.

If the Bulldogs moved to Waterloo they could ought to compete with the London Knights. Canadian hockey followers look to choose considerable junior to minor professional in the event that they are able to't have the NHL. Halifax, Moncton, St. John and St. John's all had AHL communities at on time, yet they now have QMJHL communities. So i think of the Bulldogs will flow to Nashville?!

"Hamilton or even Canada"?
Unless the US has invaded and occupied southern Ontario, then Hamilton is in Canada.
