If your laptop was reloaded from scratch without the DELL CD you will need to get the wireless card drivers installed.

If you look in network connections in the control panel and do not see Wireless Connection then you are missing the drivers for the wireless card. It that is the case,,,,
Plug the laptop into the router using a network cable. (Any one of the plugs on the back for LAN will do.) This will connect the Local Network. It should then let you connect to the internet. Go to Dells website http://dell.com click on support and download the wireless driver for your machine. It will tell you how to install it.

Once that is done you will be able to connect wirelessly again.

the suited way which you will share your purchase a on the spot router. With cable broadband, you have extra effective than adequate bandwidth to share with a million different workstation. I incredibly propose linksys routers. once you purchase a on the spot router stick to those steps. a million) connect the cable broadband container to the router's internet port 2) connect your dell's into between the numbered ports on the router 3) shelter your on the spot router with a password out of your dell (using your browser by typing interior the router's IP handle) 4) Browse for a connection on your workstation and connect on your router
