This seems to be a favorite joke and I just wonder if the guilty parties realize how it sounds. What do you think?

most people don't really realize what kind of damage they do with their insults, or how much their insults actually affect people. mostly because people who insult others are very immature and generally very stupid. also,
no i don't think they realize they are bashing gays as well, most people don't they just call everything gay all the time. cause they're dumb lol. "oh that cat just scratched me, what a gay cat!"
I'm sure the cat isn't a homosexual because it scratched you. lol
people are so silly sometimes, don't you think?

I think it needs to stop, no matter who's using it. When did gay become a slur anyway? And, just for the record, I see a lot more cons using it than libs.

Are they literally calling cons gay?? I've only heard people say this when referring to Republican gay scandals where Reps are repressing who they are instead of coming out.
How is us wanting Reps to admit who they are gay bashing? They are for not allowing gays to marry, etc., yet go around and secretly have sex with men. We need to show that gays can come in all ways shapes and forms and that they don't have to be ashamed.

Its a good bet that the politicos saying stuff like that on here are pretty much losers that the party won't let volunteer for them. They don't care who they mow down. They just get a thrill from yelling at someone....anyone.

Just like the cons on here calling people with a different point of view - terrorists. They are bashing Americans but, they still do it.

Do you think they really care?
After all they are just USING the gays.
You would think the gays would figure it out.
Maybe the gays are represented by the same kind of people who represent unions, you know, the kind of people that are in it for their own personal gain while they charge you money to represent you.

I don't like calling anybody gay. There's no reason to bring an entire group of people down when you're just aiming to insult one person.
