(SUMMERY)-In the year 2047 a group of astronauts are sent to investigate and salvage the long lost starship "Event Horizon". The ship disappeared mysteriously 7 years before on its maiden voyage and with its return comes even more mystery as the crew of the "Lewis and Clark" discover the real truth behind its disappearance and something even more terrifing.-
Hadn't watched this in ages till today. Forgot what a great movie it was. They could easly made a second one after the way they ended the first one I think.

i thought about this movie again a couple of weeks ago when i heard Fishburne's voice in the new Fantastic Four movie.
Horizon was one creepy movie! i really liked it. i don't think it made a big splash when it was first released, but it is one of the better space movies in terms of both plot and acting. it was fairly well respected when released and won some horror awards if i remember correctly.
if they do make a second one (and i have not heard they are going to), i hope they put the same effort into it that they did for the first film. sometimes they just basically take the title, put a 2 behind it and give us a crappy sequel. and if that is the case, i hope they leave it alone.

i would love to have seen a sequel. this movie was like the old haunted house movie. i always try to tell people i know that are into horror to watch it.

Absolutely, it also left the ending kinda open....so you never know!!
