As long as President Bush wields a Veto (although not hardly used) he has relevance. If you didn't notice, he had his way on the Iraq spending bill too making sure there were no time tables set for withdrawal. As far as Pro-Abortion candidates. The first Poll is Iowa and that's still 6 months away so anything can happen. For instance, look at Howard Dean 4 years ago, A couple of months before the primaries people said Howard Dean was a shoe in for the nomination and then look what happened. Don't count anyone out quite yet.

i wouldn't be so quick to attack rep's...bush or any other president really doesn't have the ultimate power our government its congress that wields that. also bush is not the sole reason for our problems in this country, the war and anything else that happens. both dem's and rep's and the u.n. voted for the war based on the same flawed intel bush had so that is all of their faults, as for the rest of the problems the finger of blame should point to first our local, state and federal government's, both parties and ultimately we should look in the mirror for those responsible...we are the ones that vote in our leaders..and most ppl don't base their decisions on facts but on the pundits that embellish their candidates good qualities while downplaying their bad. the best way for the PEOPLE to take back control of this nation is to do a little unbiased research on those that we are trusting to lead us.

Yes, of course he has relevance as long as he is in the office. And the reports I hear are that he and Condi Rice are working hard to keep us from going to war with Iraq, even while Dick Cheney is pushing for another round of attacks.
By the way, how do you imagine that "everybody" is supporting Giuliani. The highest numbers I've seen are about 20%. That's hardly overwhelming support, and he probably won't get the nomination. Chances are that the nominee won't even be one of today's frontrunners. You guys just listen to the media too much.
Oh, and we conservatives have always embraced libertarians. The only ones that don't get along with libertarians are the neo-cons.

Neither party is squeaky clean but being a Democrat, of course I'll be a little biased and say that my views are better. Because I believe in them. I think in the debate of what the Republicans want versus the Democrats, the Democrats win. There are certain things our country needs, and Bush and his party aren't addressing them, in my opinion.

What I found amazing and a sign of things to come is that while the Republicans did block the no confidence vote, not one went to the defense of the Attorney General.

NOBODY voted "for Bush". There were people voting for Kerry and other people simply voting Republican no matter whos face was shown. there's a BIG difference between those thought patterns.

Bush has no relevance, he's just trying to force more war.
But at this point, he's just a cranky old man that nobody wants to be near.

He's just marking time.
May as well pull up a chair and hibernate for the next 18 months.
