Not only that, he should be kicked off the bench and disbarred and every legal case he has ever made a decision on be reviewed and possibly overturned...this man is a Judge who misused his power and authority and warped interpretation of the law to rack fees against a the drycleaner who found his pants a week later and even offered to pay for 3 times the value of the suit (the original cost of the entire suit was $1,000) and the jerk turned it down.

Personally, I believe a swift kick in the rear would be over too quickly for it to have any lasting effect or cause any memory painful enough to be a suitable punishment.

I believe this person, and I use the term loosely, should go to prison, or be sentenced to enough community service to pay back what he has cost the court system.

Come to think of it, I like the latter solution better. Put him to work in a public hospital or prison laundry for a few thousand hours.

Yes, a major kick in the rear, and around the front end too while we're at it. I think his story sums up in a nutshell what uis wrong with America today. He wants something for nothing, and is looking for cheap legal loopholes to bilk hardworking people for everything they have.

I don't get how his case has any legs at all when they offered him some crazy settlements to being with...why didn't he take them?! Apparently he feels he is owed per day damages x 3 since there are 3 owners (parents and their son). Absolutely ridiculous.

For a judge to abuse the system in this fashion is aggravating. He is pushing some of the terms of the law to the limit. Sure, he probably should win - but the $1000 to replace the suit is probably the more likely verdict than the $54 million exaggeration he has asked for.

Blame Stella.
I think a (competent) citizens review board needs to be effected (sort of like jury duty), to review ALL lawsuits before they clog up our courts. Those deemed frivolous, like this one, and Stella's, should have the plaintiff's and his/her lawyers castrated and dismembered.
The same goes for patents.

And they were not even lost, he just was not happy with how they were pressed.

Yes, I do. He makes blacks look bad everywhere. To his defense, I will say that people are so quick to argue with you nowadays. It is a shame that businesses want to tell you you are wrong when you are the customer. He is teaching them a lesson, that admitting or at least investigating whether a mistake was made is a lot less expensive than defending yourself legally, even in a bogus suit. It should be something closer to $75 or the cost of the pants. I wish all people would learn to at least admit maybe they were wrong and ten investigate....
