We can only speak w/our wallets on such matters. As long as we have Hollywood believing "sex sells", this won't stop. Not that we have to settle for an 'impossible' situation, but we can educate and protect our family in this regard and commit to not make such things part of our entertainment library. You can also look for sites to help you speak out against such things. Look up the Parents' Television Council. They often invite subscribers to sign petitions against sex and violence on TV at certain hours, share reviews of Hollywood films for parents to make informed decisions, and also make recommendations for what's best on TV or DVD for the whole family. I got two small children to worry about, myself.

Because sex sells. The higher the rating the more people tend to want to see it. Too bad!
