No, I think Rudy and McCain have been brutally honest even about things that have hurt their chances.

Yeah, it's pretty clear from their records that both Romney and Giuliani are way to the left of anyone the Republicans have nominated in years. McCain is kinda moderate, and I wouldn't expect him to turn into a radical leftist, but he's pretty far out there on this immigration bill, and I bet he'd compromise on other things too. But he doesn't really matter, because I expect him to drop out soon.

The religious right, along with mainstream conservatives, need to wake up to what's happening to the Republicans. George Bush has transformed it into a leftist party under the guise of conservatism. As Ron Paul has been pointing out, all this big government and interventionism is NOT what conservatism is about. It's the policy of the neo-cons, who started out as converted Democrats that were pro-military.

This is going to be a critical year in the life of the Republican Party. I wish more people like you would become alert to the choices before you. This time is no time for compromise.

Giuliani, Romney and McCain will capitalize on religion for their success in the Presidential race since most Americans are Christians.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.
