I love going barefoot! I go barefoot literally everywhere, including work, stores, restaurants, holidays and everything else, summer and winter. I guess it's a little easier here in the Netherlands since we don't have any myths about bare feet being illegal or particularly dangerous, but even in the US it's not against any health regulations, insurance companies don't require or even recommend footwear for customers, and it's not against the law to drive barefoot.

I walk barefoot everywhere, I work, dine, shop, and hike barefoot. I found out that there are no health department regulations restricting people from being anyplace without shoes so now I just leave my shoes at home. I love the comfort and freedom of being barefoot everywhere I go. I also discovered all the health benifits of being barefoot and that has only reinforced my desire to be san shoes.

I would be barefoot everywhere all the time if it was acceptable. The first thing I do when I get to work is kick my shoes off under my desk and only put them on again if I'm walking into the bathroom. I even have a scar on my foot from where I was spreading hot ashes on my driveway one winter and an ash fell on my foot.... and yes, I was barefoot in the ice and snow.

Barefoot everywhere outside, mostly on hot streets, especially on the darkest smooth blacktop that burns more quickly when standing for a shorter time and also keeps increasing the burning when walking for a shorter distance. All other surfaces are boring and not the least bit challenging to walk on.
Burning the soles of the feet more and more helps to get used to standing longer times and walking longer distances on the asphalt during hotter weather and during the hottest afternoon ours. During triple digit weather, burning the feet becomes blistering the feet closer to the hottest afternoon hours, but blisters are normal and expected for getting used to the extreme heat of the extra hot asphalt.
As long as I am not getting third degree burns, I don't care if the soles burn and burn in weather below triple digit temperatures, and I don't care if they blister and blister in weather in the triple digits until they no longer blister on asphalt that extremely hot.

Ah... It depends whether the floor is clean enough...haha. I suppose the ground outdoors won't be as clean, right? Though, some people really enjoy barefooted because they feel like getting more freedom or maybe more comfortable. Some of my classmates even take off their shoes in class. To me, I prefer to wear something.

i only walk barefoot indoors. i find that walking barefoot outdoors, whether its in the grass or on driveways and sidewalks, feels weird. and i always seem to worry about what i may step on. i have seen people walk on gravel, and that amazes me.

I used to like being barefoot, but now I really don't like it--slippers or socks inside, minimally flip flops outside--but I love bare feet in thick grass!

Only at home or in my yard. I would be afraid of stepping on something sharp, a burning stub of a cigarette, glass or something that is disease ridden if I walked barefoot uptown.
