That is an excellent movie! It takes place in midieval times, Mel Gibson plays William Wallace, a Scotsman, who manages to rally his countrymen together to fight for their freedom from English rule. There is a romantic side to the story as well. I highly recommend it, it's not at all like Lord of the Rings, and is not stupid at all. You won't be disappointed!

Braveheart is not just a good movie okay....It's a GREAT movie. I absolutely love it. It has a love story to it, but I don't want to mislead you though. It has to deal with a lot more things besides that, but you need to watch it! You will love it.
Mel Gibson won oscars for Best Picture and Best Director!

Its a good movie, Takes place in Scotland, Mel Gibson plays the lead, he is the hero. Its kind of violent. The English kill his father and rape his wife, he leads his people to revolt. I liked it.
