My husband and I just received full-custody of his son. Because of his mothers financial situation we will never see a dime of CS. She makes less than 10,000 a year and is considered poverty level. What sucks is we have been paying her $589 amonth all along. But the judge basically said we would be taking food out of her other kids mouths by forcing CS. If your ex is in a similiar situation you probably will not get a monthly support......but there is always tax returns...get a lawyer or talk to family services.

Take the same steps women have to take to get the father's of their children to pay back child support. Talk to your lawyer, have the court garnish her wages. Hold any income tax refunds as payment.

Do you have a child support degree? If so then you need to turn that into your local child support enforcement office.
If you dont then you need to file one. It is a huge packet but will pay of in the end. One day hopefully you will go to your mail box & have a huge check in there for you. Good luck.

call your child support division. they will take what is owed and add it to her current payment. in texasi know that if she is 30 days late they will send a demand notice after 90 days they file a suit and then they take the dead beat to court. w/ jail time suspension of drivers licens. and if they get a tax refund you will get your back support from that as well. but you have to stay on top of it by keeping in contact w/ your local child support division

you need to go where the support order is filed ie: Domestic relations at the court house and file for non-payment/contempt of court. The person who is handling your case at Domestic Relations can help you.

They can garnish her wages through her employer.

go to court, have the judge garnish her wages. She could also go to jail - most of the time the threat of jail will make them pay up.
