I think i subconsciously did! I read that article on yahoo about women subconsciously picking guys that resemble their dad's if they've had good relationships with their fathers, and I would say i definitely did that. I'm not saying my bf and my dad look the same, but they are both really tall, thin, fun, social, flirty, and WISHY WASHY! lol. they both can lay down the law HARD, and they both get defensive...a lot. but at the same time, respect women and are the friendly jokesters. So yes i definitely think so. I love my dad and my boyfriend.

When chosing a husband, alot of women seem to chose someone resembling their father, due to a good father-daughter relationship throught her life. I personally, had a great relationship with my dad. He was a fireman, and an emt. I recently got engaged to a wonderful guy, who treats me right, and is going to school to become a fireman, and an emt.
Some women who had bad relationships with their fathers, do not like a parter resembling them, because they fear a bad relationship as well.

Opposite..... My dad was good to us but different at his job and around others. I wouldn't want my husband to be known as an asshole like he is.
