Ok guys, tell me what you think. I ovulated on June 1st and had unprotected sex several times around that date. I took 3 HPTs b/c I couldn't wait for a missed period, they were on the 9th, 10th, and 11th- all were negative. I started having slight period-like cramping on yesterday the12th, accompanied by light spotting (my normal period is NOT DUE until the 15th!). This morning when I woke up, the pain was REALLY BAD!, however, I was still only spotting. A few hrs. into the day the bleeding picked up a bit, but still not my regular normal period blood loss, I'm usually a heavy bleeder- sorry if TMI. I'm wondering if this is implantation, since in occurs 5 to 12 days post conception or an early miscarriage? This is new for me so I don't have a clue.....what's good?

I think you've tested it too soon but I also know how anxious it can be to wonder whether you are pregnant or not (depending if that's a good thing or not too). But I, too, probably ovulated around 6/01 and my period should be due 6/12 but my cycles are irregular (depending on the amount of stress I have the previous month) but I was anxious and tested on 6/09 and it showed up BFN - (Big Fat Negative) so I was a little disappointed, so I must wait around to see if my period would come. I couldn't wait anymore so I re-test on 6/12 and to my surprise I had a light/faint positive - so I am going to re-test again in few days when the pregnancy hormones build up more - so I would say, wait another week but I would call the DOCTOR right away to see what her opinions and suggestions are. Good luck!

Sounds to me like implantation...
I was expecting my period, when I got light, spotty bleeding. I knew this was not my period. (I too am a heavy bleeder). I had cramps like I was going to start.
8 days later, I started bleeding heavy (bright red). Thinking it was my period, I even used tampons. It only lasted 2 days. I then knew this was not my period either.
(I have NEVER had regular cycles so I couldn't rely on a missed period).
I started getting DEATHLY ill (had hyperemesis gravidarum) and went to ER. I was 9 1/2 weeks pregnant!
Now I'm 21 weeks, and everything is fine!!!
Good luck, hope you get the answer you're looking for.

It depends on a couple of things and every woman is different. If the bleeding continues I would contact your dr asap, because if the baby is implanting and you're still bleeding, you need to be seen to ensure that you don't have a miscarriage or that you're not ectopic.

it is likely too soon to tell, if the bleeding is reall heavy and clotty it may be an early miscarrage. But give it a week and re-test, you may just have heavier than normal implantation bleeding.

Well, it's too soon to tell. Since you bleeding the way you are, you might have to take a trip to the doctor. It could be a miscarriage
