How can I learn to sound more like Richard Burton?

Question

I know he had one of the greatest, most imitated voices in history and a great deal of men want to sound like him, but how do you think I might go about this?

All I can find in reference is that he was told 'to lose the valley accent,'- not very helpful to someone who doesn't hail from Cmyru in the first place!

Perhaps you could begin by watching videos of his movies or performances.
Maybe there is someone near you who could teach you diction and help you sound more like Richard Burton.
