How much does what you expected differ from what you have?

180 degrees different. Oddly I am more at peace and have more Happiness than I have everhad.
I expected to be a success dollar wise and have the woman and all the things that go with that life style.

I try to not expect anything, so that way I am pleasantly surprised if my hopes come true. However, in the past, certain decisions are executed with the most honorable intentions and because of the difference in human behaviors, sometimes things don't always turn out the way that we expect. This is why I have learned to at least TRY not to have expectations and to just "roll" with it...as difficult as that may be sometimes. :-)

A lot, I suppose. I expected to never go to summer school in my life, but because of a disease I missed three months of school, so now I have to make up classes. Besides that, though, I'm very blessed. I have more than I could have ever expected to have.

I don't expect anything really. Just live and hope for the best. I learned years ago to stop expecting things...never turns out like you want too

It usually is always very different from what I expected. I tend to imagine the worst case scenario a lot and get real stressed about something, but usually it turns out to be pretty nice, or at least no where near as bad as I thought.

i didn't expect anything so it doesn't differ at all
and what i have is great
