The Counting Crows are from Berkeley. Maybe everyone just hates Berkeley except those who live there.
I notice since 1997 their hits have been mostly on the Adult charts instead of the Modern Rock charts they originally graced. Maybe selling out your following could get rockers mad at you too.

I don't hate the Counting Crows. Their one of the best bands in the world! but that's just my opinion. I like their songs:Colorblind, and Chelsea

2.) They're about 10 years past their prime

I'm not even on the West Coast and I think they blow hard. Besides the singer whats his face dated one of the Olsen twins...can we say gross?
