Which theme park is better?

They are very similar.
Carrowinds is a large amusement park just like Six Flags. However, they are cleaner than most Six Flags parks parks and aren't quite as commercial.
Between Borg, Top Gun, Vortex, and the other rides, you've got some great coasters and other thrill rides. I'd say I prefer Carrowinds over at least half of the SF chain. The SF parks I like better are SF Magic Mountain (b/c of the # of coasters), SF Fiesta TX (b/c of the shows there), SF New England (b/c of Superman the ride - best stell coaster!), and SF over TX (b/c it's been a home park for so many years). The other ones I could take/leave.

Carrowinds is a better park by a long shot. The park is cleaner and is better run than Six Flags.

From experience, I have found that as a whole sixflags is cleaner, more friendly, and will usually have better rides...
