Yes. There was a patient who was getting Vicodin on a regular basis (every 4 hours). She came up 2 hours after the last dose and asked for another pill. After telling her it wasnt time, she went into a rant-threw a full pitcher of water at me and demanded I call her doctor. I did and he said not to give her any more than the regular dose. She thought I should be able to slip her an extra one and called me heartless.
