A lot of us do that but when we say that we mean EVERYBODY in general. It's called 2nd point of view when we really want to speak 3pov.

If you're talking to one person, t means it's singular but if you're talking to a bunch of people it can mean either singular or plural

no. not me. but in other people's questions, i get confused when they say "I" or ME. because i don't even know if they are talking about ME or THEM.
