Hear me out. David Stern better start taking a book out of American Idol and start "helping" teams get to the finals. First, we all know that Cleavland will not and never beat San Antonio. Not with Lebron and not against Duncan. They got past Detroit because Detroit's middle name is complacency. I am not a Spurs fan and never will be because- THEY ARE NOT EXCITING. Let's be honest. I was speaking with someone yesterday, people are excited by people- not the way they shoot bank shots nor the way they shoot 20 ft jumpshots (Tony). Women don't find the spurs appealing and men don't want to be like them. Find a kid that wants to be like Tim Duncan- given the choice of Kobe, Shaq, D-Wade, Nash, Nowitzki and I will give you a dollar. Mind you they only have 3,4,1,0,0 championships respectively. The only famous/ infamous things the spurs are known for are dirty plays and a Desperate Desperate housewife. Is it me or does the NBA think that if they show her every other second ratings go up.:(

your right the only way people are going to watch the spurs is if they know the'll show eva every 10 minutes. the problem with the finals is the east period. detriot is the only team that can touch the top 5 teams in the west. and they blew it against clevland who only has 1 above average player other than lebron. if they(clevland) were in the west they wouldnt have even made it to the playoffs. teams like the spurs are dirty and slow they lull other teams to sleep. it boring, on the other hand an " exciting team" i.e. pheonix and golden state who are suposedly fun to watch would be horible for any one who knows anything about b ball to watch because they run and shoot but cant' defend against a 2 year old kid on crutches. the nba needs more balenced teams like the celtics, lakers, and bulls of the 80's

The NBA playoffs have not been that exciting in general for a while. I agree that the Spurs will likely sweep and that they are not exciting to watch. But the Spurs deserve to win though since they win as a team and not win with one flashy player like Cleveland has. They've played pretty dirty and have gotten some bad calls go their way, but they are one of the only teams in the NBA that actually have a team mentality instead of relying on just one or two players.

Why don't you ask yourself this question?
Has the NBA been exciting since MJ and the Bird left? The Suns are fun to watch but they don't play any defense.
Our so-called superstars participate in the Olympics and we get beaten by what, Greece? Maybe it's time to get someone new in charge and get people to pay attention to good sound, clean basketball without the F-king' zebras determining the outcome? And to the ***** Spurs fans, if the Spurs were effected by the calls on your team, you would be bitching too, you are just lucky, LeChoke and the janitors suck too bad to take advantage.

They do suck. The Spurs get stupid fame. For Eva Longoria and recently for being a "dirty" team. Which they are NOT, because if they were, then they'd be a little more fun to watch. Hopefully Lebron will pull out some tricks to excite these Finals. But even if he tries some late heroics, it wouldn't help them win anyway.

Don't think that it's just you, because it's not. This is one of the most boring, one-sided finals I've ever witnessed and I honestly didn't expect much more than this. Did we really think the team that came out of the East would stand a chance against the team that came out of the West? It's a one-sided league, and I don't know how you could explain this. Bad GMs in the East? Bad coaching in the East? I know that Eastern teams generally play at a slower pace than many in the West ("defense-oriented") but the lack of depth in the East for the past what, 15 years now(?), has been absolutely pathetic. I'm a huge NBA fan and I have to say I might not be watching Game 4...the only one I've actually seen in full was the 1st. Hopefully this can be turned around ASAP but I wouldn't count on it.

no i think you suck and swallow. sounds like a typical metro-sexual answer. who incorporates desperate housewives with the NBA (reeuq). the fact of the matter is that Nash, Nowitzki, Bryant, Shaq, and Wade are not playing in the finals because San Antone can and did beat all those teams to reach and win 4 championships. get back to your soap opera and leave the NBA, NHL, NFL, MLS, and FIFA to men that watch sports and enjoy a good a-whooping. we watch sports not ratings gaf.

It isnt you. The Finals are boring and very disappointing this year. I dont really wanna explain because I answered this question a LOT, but who wants to see LeBron airball freethrows? NOBODY! He's horrible.

It does suck in that there's no real competition. I do like the fact that the best team deserves a championship and the fraudsters are exposed.

oh come on you saying that cause probably your team is not in the final this remind me of the final with Houston Rockets & Orlando Magic i think it was in 96 or 97 when the Rockets sweep the Magic with O'niel, Hardaway & Grant thats all its is cause your team is not there
