My wife and I like Tyler James for our unborn son. James is my wide's mother's (who passed away 5 years ago) maiden name.
What do you think of that name?

Tyler is a wonderful name. My son's best friend's name is Tyler, but I don't know any other Tylers besides him.
I think it's wonderful to have your son's middle name after your wife's mother. James is a good strong middle name and it has a great meaning to it as well.

Tyler James is a very nice name! Congrats! I'm due in July and if I have a boy his name will be Jayden Michal, the same initials as my grandfather Jerry Michael, the name is perfect when it comes from the heart!

Cool name, I like to pass on names, my little brother is andrew James, named after andrew james little who fought in the revolutionary war, it is my mothers maiden name....

Tyler is my husbands name, and I love the names james. we are having a son and that was going to be his middle name. So yeah...I like it, go with it.

There's a boy in my grade named Tyler and his middle name is James and he's really cute :-]

I love it! What matters the most is that you do. I think it's wonderful that you are keeping your wife's mother's spirit alive by giving your child her maiden name, I am sure she would be delighted by this gesture. Way to go on picking an awesome name...A+!
