Which show is better? Me, I like them both but on SNL, just the Chris Farley years....

I like them both...but madtv is better....SNL is more popular though but lacks humor....since Tina and Jimmy left the show...it has all gone down hill....Madtv... go Dot and Stuart!!!

SNL kills MadTV. Mad is cheesy and poorly acted, with second rate actors...whereas SNL has real stars...better actors, and MUCH BETTER writers.

Saturday Night Live. It's a veteran in the TV comedy business, has far superior cast members, and the comedy doesn't make me want to bash my head into a running train.

When MAD-TV "peaked" in their 3rd and 4th seasons, they were funnier than SNL (at the same time), but MAD-TV has 'faded'.
Overall, SNL has had much funnier moments and seasons, than MAD, notwithstanding their longevity.

SNL.
MadTV is just dumb; they aren't that funny and when they can't think of any decent jokes, they resort to bathroom humor and sexual innuendo. It's just crap that's polluting the air waves.
