It's like 16 bucks to get it waxed professionally. At home you have to buy a kit which is around 16 bucks. Salon! If your afraid to do the first wax yourself have someone else do it for you. It doesn't hurt I get it done all the time.

My wife let's me do her waxing. My tip: do it professionally if you can afford it.
a) it is a mess. My wife uses some sugary paste/liquid that has to be heated and reheated and God beware it spills on something else then it is like glue!
b) It hurts more when done non-professionally. Everytime I pull the strip wrong or not fast enough she is mad as hell.
I never tried it but it must be painful.
I always tell her that she doesn't ahve to do it and that I love her with hairy legs or not. But she still wants me to do it. If I had the money I would send her to a beauty salon

I prefer professional waxing @ a salon for my legs because it's hard for me to hold my skin taut & pull the wax strip quickly at the same time. (i.e. not co-ordinated enough)
I have a friend who's a cosmetologist who swears by Nad's though.
You could have it done @ a salon the first couple of times to see how it is done & then do maintenance @ home.

Professional may be more expensive, but it's worth it.I bought a waxing kit a few years back only used it a couple of times. Also if your in the uk the beauty department of your local college usually have times when the trainees do beauty training so you could get a cheap wax done.

I don't think It matters too much really but maybe if it's your 1st time, go pro.
If and when you decide to do it yourself, I highly recommend MOOM. It is a 100% natural wax so you aren't loading your body with dangerous chemicals, it attaches only to the hair NOT to your skin so it's less painful! (always a plus! :) ) and finally.....it works really well! You can buy it off many organic websites, ebay and for the best price I've found......body4real.com.............they also do another natural one which is on offer called epil-ya but I've not heard about it so can't really shed any light on the performance of the product!
Oh and also perhaps when you do do it yourself, you might want to buy an epilator=less mess...same lasting effects! If you go on amazon.com people have written reviews so you get the best choice!!...........phillips seems to be the best bet and you can get a good one for around £25.
Well hope all goes well!.....not too painful!

It's more expensive in a salon, but if you want it done correctly then it's better to get it there.
If you do it yourself without knowing what the hell you are doing, then you're more likely to cause yourself more pain or make some sort of mistake. Don't do it if you have the money to go to a salon to get it done well.

warm wax hurts lots and leg hairs could be allowed to strengthen extremely long to get a good consequence which won't be suitable. tried it as quickly as and that grew to become into adequate. My legs stayed very pink for hours. can no longer even think of relating to the discomfort of waxing everywhere greater mushy. Razors each time thank you.

the only difference in getting a proffesional wax as opposed to doing it yourself is the 'Rip effect...If you get it done in the salon it will be quicker and probaly less painful as you won't get chance to 'chicken out' when they 'riiiiiiiip!'...painful either way!! Stick to the cream or the razor
