It depends on your ovulation day. it is best to test 11-14 DPO (days past ovulation). Your period can range from various days, but your luteal phase (the time from ovulation to your next period) never changes. Once you learn this, you will be able to tell.

I would wait a week after you've missed your period - that will give you more than enough time for your Pregnancy hormones to build up so it will show up positive on your pee-test (if that's what you're hoping to see) testing too early will only disappoint you and you will get a falsely negative while the hormone may be too little to be detected. Besides, it'll save you a lot of money not having to buy so many of those home tests - it gets expensive so I would say, wait a little (I know it's hard especially when you want it so bad). I've been through it so I know, now I think I am pregnant - the result is very light and faint so I will have to retest again this weekend to confirm - so that means I need to buy more test. Hey,
Depends if you know when you would have conceived...
If you write it down take it from the last time you had sex around ovulation and then add on 12days and you should be able to get a positive result.
But it also too depends on which brand you use.
You need one with a really sensitive reading like 25mml or under!
Also you can deffinatly have a positive blood test at 10days past the last time you has sex around ovulation.

I think the best time is atleast 3 days after you missed your period due date, because taking it too early may lead to a false result. Blood test can pick up the hormone as early as a week after conception.

as early as 4-5days before ur missed period but sometimes testing that early can be not accurate where as if u wait about 2days before u miss ur period it wil be more accurate thats when i tested with first response and got 2 possitive results
