Record wise, they will be pretty close. I think they have a great shot a getting somewhere around 13-3 or 11-5. The way they play will be different though. It was a short passing team that year. This year Cutler will be throing bombs to Walker all day long. It should be a very good team.

For the record Bronco fans are NOT arrogant. You must be a Patriots fan, or a Queefs fan, or maybe even a Traders fan. Either way, who cares? I sincerely hope that the Broncos will be what they were in 2005 or even better. That was such a great year for Denver. Everything was falling in place. If Jay Cutler can manage the game and just throw short passes to his receivers, and keep the defense fresh and rested, things should fall into place.
Likewise if the defense can go 3 and out more often than not, this could be a great your for those Bronco Boyz. I am a defense lover, I LOVE DEFENSE!! Under a new D-Coordinator, I am anxious to see what this Broncos D is gonna bring to the table. On paper, it looks like the Broncos could have the defense to smother and suffocate opposing offenses, but we will have to wait until the season starts to see how things go. I CAN'T WAIT!!
GO BRONCOS!!!!

Yea I hate that they are not considered one of the best team in the AFC. The Chargers are not one, people just think that because they got LT he is good but he cant play D. With Dre Bly and Champ Bailey as a tandem they can stop or make ineffective the Colts and the Patriots passing game even though they have Marvin & Reggie and Randy & Donte. The linebackers minus Al Wilson can still be effective but the concern is the rush D, if Dumervile and Moss can de effective the Broncos have an exeptional D. The offense is now better with Travis Henry and Daniel Grhahm, although it is all up to Cutler. I dont like him if the Broncos traded down to get him why couldnt they go down one more spot to get Matt Leinart.

Jay Cutler is the real deal. Last year was amazing, and he is in the perfect place to get groomed. I liked Jake Plummer. i even has his jersey. but he wasnt John elway or Jay Cutler. Jay Cutler has the Arm and Accuracy to make the passes Jake couldnt, and, based on his speed at the combine, might even make plays on his feet too. Look long term with Jay Cutler. The Broncos are the only team in the Division not in serious need of rebuilding or the Chargers, who got a new coach, and wont be what they were last year at least until midseason. Denver is going to be good. I just hope Travis Henry, their new RB still has a couple of really good years. Rod Smith had a hip problem last season, i think, so we will see how he bounces back but he probably doesnt have much bounce left. Marshall is developing into a good reciever, too. so Javon Walker wont have to cath all the balls, and he can be the big play reciever that he is. Devense looks good too. Jarvis Moss, their First round DE should be really good, especially in the 4th quarter, because Mike Shanahan loves to keep those guys fresh rotating them constantly. Go Broncos!!!

I think that they have a very good chance of going 12-4 or 13-3. Shannahan has built an impressive supporting cast for Cutler on offense. I am excited to see what Travis Henry can do in this system. I believe in Cutler and think that he is the real deal. He's got a cannon for an arm and is very mobile.
Denver's defense should be better this year than it was in 2006. I predict that it will be one of the top 5 in the league.
If Cutler gets confident and comfortable with what Mike's got laid out for him this year will be really fun to watch.

They've got a tough schedule but in the offseason they have made big improvements on offense and defense. I think the season will depend a lot on the maturity of Cutler. Cutler definitely has the physical abilities to become a very good NFL QB. The next couple of years will see if he has the mental part.

I hope Cutler can step up to the plate this year. Hopefully he can hit the recievers and all of them can stay healthy this year.

Most likely not, but they do have a chance. It depends on Cutler, will he make that big next step?
