Just wear a jacket all the time and spruce it up. Add buttons, graffiti with sharpie, little colorful stitches going around the cuffs, ribbon, anything really. Wear a lot of jewelry, and carry a tote.

I had to wear uniforms all threw elementary school. It was hell for me at first because i never thought i would be able to look cute in them, but i ended up learning that wearing lots of accessories can go a long way! Add your favorite jewelry, shoes and belts to your wardrobe and it will make it look a little more personal. Also layering peices of your school uniform colors will really make it look nice!

Start with your shoe laces and work your way up. Go out and buy "different" shoe laces, find a pair that will express your individuality. Make modifications to the uniform. I'm SO the non-conformist, if they have specific shirts you have to wear, dye them a different color, with skirts, add a lace trim to the bottom, sew zippers all over your slacks. You're not breaking the dress code, you're just 'modifying' it. Best of luck!

try to stand out..
Try hair pins
Barrettes and scrunchies are inexpensive.
Head bands, too, can help you stand out. Try using bright colors, florals of buy some with cute little insects on them.

Earrings
earrings aren't just a great way to dress up your ears. . Or you can pin one on your shirt or sleeve for a nice little pin, and if a button comes up missing you can use an earring to get you through the day, or until you fix your button.

roll up your sleeves....roll in the skirt from the top so its not too long.

Get some necklaces, bracelets, rings, and other jewelry. If you want people to notice them make them way different and hip colors. If you want them to not be noticed as much just find colors that are close that's how my friend survived wearing her ugly uniform.

I don't have uniforms at my school, but my friend does, and she always says to wear cool belts, or long necklaces, and big hanging earrings. She also tells me that she wears her hair up in colorful clips or ribbons. Hope that helps a little.

The best thing to do is find the styles that look best on you and stick with it. Make sure they are the right sizes and everything. A bad fit is usually why they look so bad, I don't recommend any embellishments because you will be sent to the office. Just find the ones that look best on you.

Add lots of acessories! Paint your nails, wear hair acessories, cute ear rings, add a belt. Can't do too much to the uniform itself but plenty to spice the rest of you up!
