Well listen to him unless he's fickle then I don't really know whayt to do because those people don't know how to handle things.

Your supervisor mave have issues that have nothing to do with you which may range from the mild (not knowing how to manage) to the major (she may be psycho?). Either way, I would suggest you ask for a sit-down conversation. Explain that you are all about customer service and ask if there are any steps you can take to suit her style better.

Be willing to compromise because sometimes a few small tweaks can make the boss happy enough to leave you alone.

If your supervisor does not have a supervisor to whom you could appeal for help or if your company does not have a Human Resources Dept., I suggest you bide your time, return to school to get a degree or certificate, and then QUIT! You might also try to talk to your supervisor...but it sounds like she's a megalomaniac with serious control issues. Things could possibly improve but I wouldn't count on it.

This isn't really a history question.

However, you have to do what he wants or you are out the door. You might consider looking for a better job.

First, do what your supervisor says or get a different job.

More importantly, ask this question in the correct section, this one is about history.

Who signs your pay checks?

If he had told you not to touch it previous to this statement ... why did you touch it? Learn to follow instructions even if they seem stupid. Later then when someone asks why you did it that way, you just say, 'So-and-so told me to.' Then if your boss has a boss then your immediate boss will start feeling the heat for making wrong judgement calls.

All in all...it's politics at the lowest levels.
