You probably had what is called a follicular cyst.
This happens when you don't ovulate and instead a cyst forms. When it ruptures it creates sharp severe pains. Your doctor might monitor you to make sure the cyst is totally gone and doesn't reappear.

It is a VERY massive possiblity that it would be a cyst. I am studying your query and also you sound EXACTLY like I do. I have cysts and feature been on BC due to the fact I was once thirteen since of the equal problems. IT sounds such as you do have a cysts, they usually must be competent to do an extremely sound in your belly (no longer inside) to peer them if they're there. Somjetimes it calls for surgical procedure to get them eliminated different instances you need to allow them to burst on their possess wich is painfull, however you believe SOOOO so much higher after. The affliction you possibly having now is also person who has already burst and the fluid is aggrivating the whole thing. Look up Polycystic Ovarian Syndrom. I have this and plenty of different women have it too without realizing it. There are every other well being disorders they'll cross in conjunction with PCOZ (polycystic ovarian syndrom), that have to be addressed. Nothing existence thratening, simply stuff that's a affliction within the butt. I desire you believe higher hun! I understand in which you're coming from they usually fairly do suck. Good good fortune hun, and if they're nonetheless "discovering not anything" however you're nonetheless having the affliction, KEEP PUSHING THEM TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. I were handling cysts for eight years now, they usually nonetheless wont do something to aid me. Its an extended avenue in the event that they hold coming again, however optimistically they're going to aid you greater than dr.'s were serving to me!!! Good good fortune love!!

I had a really big ovarian cyst like 2 years ago and it was the worst! I didn't think I was pregnant, I thought I had a tumor. They had me do A LOT of ultra sounds and so they could monitor the size. I was at the boarder line of surgery so they wanted to wait to see if it would reduce by size before they did the surgery. It was really painful and there were days that I couldn't even get out of bed. But it ended up bursting (which was extremely painful) and after that there were no more signs of any ovarian cysts. I got lucky. They are no fun so I hope that you don't have any more. They put me on birth control and I still have to have ultra sounds but luckily I haven't had another one since.

No its not weird...cysts are actually very common, they come and go on their own...I know that I get them all the time due to a syndrome called PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). Most likely if the cyst does not go away on its own you will need to get it removed. I would definitely speak to your doctor and see what he says about it...go for weekly sonograms so that they can monitor it. If left alone it can lead to something more serious...

In response to another posters answer, you do not always need to get ovarian cysts removed. I have had them & no surgery was required. Its painful & scary when you aren't sure what it is, but it is probably more common than you think. My doctor' solution was to go on birth control. Good luck

This sounds crazy, but I took my 12 year old to the hospital, because I thought she had a misscarriage....and I was really mad....I had thought for awhile she was preg...and she swore she isnt having sex......they said the same thing..she had a cyst....so she cant have caffine anymore, and we have to watch her periods closer...to make sure she is regular....but that is what happens I guess.

I had that too. It was very painful for me too. I didn't think I was pregnant though. I didn't know what was wrong with me. I could barely walk or move.
